What we publish

We prioritize official Rockstar material, then first-hand previews and independently inspected visual identifications. Vehicle names inferred by community analysts remain probable. Other databases may help discovery, but do not replace underlying evidence. We exclude leaks and unsourced rumors.

A screenshot caption can establish an official name. It cannot establish performance, price or gameplay rules. Unknown details stay off the page.

Confidence belongs to the fact

Officially confirmed

The official source explicitly supports this specific claim. It does not guarantee that development plans will never change.

Probable

A supported interpretation that is not explicit. We label the uncertainty where it matters to a player.

Unverified

Not established. Kept in editorial drafts, not presented as confirmed information.

Disputed

Conflicting evidence requires review. A previously published claim may be labeled disputed or withdrawn.

Every fact has its own evidence, including each entity’s name. Vehicle classes describe the visible body or use, not an official race class.

Dates, reviews and corrections

Source publication, source access, fact publication and editorial review are different dates. Undated official pages are explicitly marked; access dates never stand in for an announcement date. News dates show when we published our reporting, while the text identifies the original event date.

The editorial desk reviews the source and its context before publication. If a source changes, we review affected claims, update their evidence and dates, and publish a new release. Material corrections are explained in the affected article or evidence note. Our Git history preserves the editorial changes.

How this site is maintained

GTA VI Companion is an independent editorial project assisted by Codex. The editorial desk is a site attribution, not a claim to Rockstar affiliation. Automated checks require evidence and valid references; they do not prove that an interpretation is true.

Content is published through a private operator workflow. Visitors cannot edit records. Personal state is optional; see our data and privacy guide. Map tools are not available yet.

Vehicle imagery

Our vehicle illustrations are original generic shapes, not depictions of specific game models. We link to official imagery as evidence. Rockstar’s fan-content policy does not provide a clear reuse basis for this digital publication, so we have not republished its screenshots. Future gallery assets require a recorded usage basis and attribution.
