Community reconstruction — unofficial
The Leonida map uses YANIS V15, distributed by GTADB. This is pre-release community geography, not a Rockstar-confirmed map. Roads, coastlines, names and boundaries printed into the base include speculation and historical community work informed by leaks. They may be wrong or change.

Adaptation by GTA VI Companion: geographic crop, JPEG tile stitching, resizing, retiling and WebP conversion. The original screenshot panels and GTA logo are excluded. We did not import overlay sets, a landmark database, photos or game screenshots. A small selection of community placement records is separately reviewed below. The original contributor list is retained below; no endorsement is implied.
Why V15
Current GTADB HEAD checked on 7 September 2026: 263d217db1f922b0e63f5940e80e769fdeecb9c9. V15 is the public default with a complete committed tile pyramid. The newer V16 JPEG exists, but its history identifies V16 beta and its generated tiles are externally managed. We selected the latest stable public set, not an assumed latest version.
Permission and uncertainty are different
The repository explicitly licenses data and images under CC BY 4.0 unless otherwise noted. No narrower file-specific exception was found for the selected V15 tiles. This grants attributed reuse and adaptation; it does not guarantee that every underlying third-party right is cleared, authenticate historical inputs, or establish geographic accuracy.
Printed labels are part of the community artwork. Our interactive markers come only from our independently sourced entities. There are 17 mapped locations and four business markers, each with its own probable community placement and evidence. Five additional locations use selectively reviewedpinned GTADB records: Ocean View Hotel, Sara’s Unisex Salon, Electric Fang Tattoo, Stock 305 and the Allied Crystal refinery. Four corresponding businesses share those reviewed areas. A label anchor is neither a building entrance nor a surveyed boundary. The other 12 locations remain unmapped. Official existence/name facts remain separately sourced. Red speculative labels were not used to place Little Cuba or the specific Tisha-Wocka market.
The selected record coordinates were transformed into this map’s cropped pixel space and their landings visually inspected. Four locations use approximate points; the refinery uses a broad industrial search area. We did not independently verify the upstream photo derivation or establish non-leaked historical lineage. These are community estimates, not Rockstar coordinates.
Immutable reference and delivery
yanis-v15-gtadb-263d217-crop-v1, version 1; 6656 × 9216 reference pixels. 325 self-hosted WebP tiles across five levels, 8,472,992 bytes including preview and credits. Browsers request only visible tiles from this site; no live upstream tile requests. Exact source/output hashes and crop manifest.

Your workspace
Your annotations remain private and bound to their original map-space version. Earlier synthetic test objects are retained but are never silently moved onto this different geography. Guest data is stored on this device; signed-in data syncs to your account. Entity pins and collection tracking keep their existing identities.
100% means one reference pixel per CSS pixel. Fit shows the whole crop; wheel, pinch and slider zoom continuously. OpenLayers 10.10.0 is distributed under its BSD 2-Clause license.
